Where is your cacao sourced?

Our cacao is sourced direct-trade from one of the first organic and regenerative farming cooperatives in Ghana where farmers are paid a premium for their beans.

Does your chocolate contain
heavy metals?

Our cacao has been tested SAFE for both lead and cadmium. It is 50% below the California MADL for lead and 75% below the California MADL for cadmium.

Is your chocolate allergen-free?

Our chocolate is naturally free of dairy, gluten, and soy, but is made in a facility that handles those allergens.

Is your chocolate vegan?

Our chocolate is vegan except for our Lavender Rose bar, which contains bee pollen.

How should I store my chocolate? 

Store your chocolate in a cool, dry place such as a kitchen pantry between 40-75F.

How do you ship chocolate
in the summer?

We offer a no-melt guarantee, shipping chocolate with ice packs and insulation via two-day air.

Bergamot is an orange varietal that hails from it’s namesake location — Bergamo, Italy — where 90% of the world's production is grown. Most famous for providing Earl Grey with it’s signature flavor, Bergamot essential oil offers notes of citrus, floral, and musk with an intensity that’s hard to believe.

The world’s most iconic aroma, lavender exudes a complex fragrance of rose and herb rosemary, with hints of mint and bright citrus. First utilized by ancient Egyptians in purification rituals, lavender essential oil is widely praised for its ability to bring relaxation and stress-relief.

Our direct-trade cacao is what chocolate is meant to be—sumptuous, fudgy, and rich. These incredible beans offer the highest iron content of any plant and boost serotonin, tryptophan, tyrosine, and phenylethylamine—bliss chemicals associated with wellbeing and happiness.

The Earth’s original sweet treat, dates have been cultivated in the Indus Valley since 5000BC. What makes dates so great is their high fiber content (slowing the digestion of sugar) and unique nutrition profile (serving up more antioxidants than blueberries, more potassium than bananas).

For that classically rich, smooth, and fudgy dark chocolate flavor, we use the standard-bearer: West African cacao. Ours comes directly from a single origin estate in Ghana, one of the country's first-ever organic and regenerative farms. It's crafted from bean-to-bar using just three ingredients, all organic – cacao beans, cacao butter, and dates.
