Chocolate "Kisses" for Valentine’s

About This Recipe

Skip the store-bought candy this Valentine’s (or anyday!) and make your own pure, date-sweetened chocolate kisses instead. Using Spring & Mulberry Earl Grey bars brings a delicate floral note — equal parts romantic and indulgent — perfect for sharing with your Valentine or Galentine's.

Ingredients
Serving Size: 12 kisses
1

Spring & Mulberry Earl Grey Date-Sweetened Dark Chocolate Bar

1

silicone “kiss” mold (12-count, available online)

Foil candy wrappers (we used pink, available online)

Directions
  1. Prepare. Finely chop the chocolate bar into small, even pieces.
  2. Melt. Place chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt gently using a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each until smooth.
  3. Mold. Spoon or pour melted chocolate into the kiss mold cavities, tapping lightly on the counter to release air bubbles.
  4. Chill. Transfer the mold to the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until chocolate is fully set.
  5. Serve. Pop out the kisses and enjoy immediately, or wrap in foil for gifting.
Notes
  1. For extra shine, temper the chocolate before pouring into molds.
  2. Experiment with different Essence Bars for unique flavor variations.
